New Grove Corner

Portland Utd FC’s ground is officially called The Weyline Stadium for the 2016/17 and 2017/18 season after the taxi firm sponsored the ground. Previously known as New Grove Corner the ground is on The Isle of Portland. It has a capacity of 2,000 with two stands offering seating and shelter. Half time refreshments are available.

Portland is known for its strong winds so it is advisable (if planning to watch the match al fresco) to wrap up well in the winter. For females visiting, short, flared skirts are not recommended! There is a spacious, well stocked bar with plenty of seating. If you are not geared up for the winter weather, there is viewing from the bar overlooking the pitch - as long as it is not foggy!

Don’t forget...The Blues Club is available for functions free of charge. Paul Rowland can be contacted on 07805 041310 or speak to any of the committee members. With a beautifully refurbished kitchen, wide range of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks with friendly staff, plenty of seating and room for a knees up, this is a perfect venue for any special occasion. So spread the word!
